We do.

That’s why some of us got together and started the Chit Chat Café.

We meet in East Mains Baptist Church on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. If there happens to be a fifth Wednesday, we sneak in an extra wee meeting that day too.

There are usually between 20 and 30 of us, all ages, sitting at tables of six, enjoying each other’s chat.

You pay £2 and get soup, sandwiches, tea, coffee and biscuits. Some weeks we even have cakes, but that’s a bonus.

We are open from 12:00 to 2:00pm but you don’t have to stay the whole time, although you will probably find that you want to.

It’s very informal with lots of laughter.

Don’t feel that you have to come along with someone, you will be made very welcome and will soon make new friends.
